Exciting news: A couple of months back, I was approached by the CBC about guest hosting their national Radio 2 jazz show, TONIC, for a few weeks this summer. An avid CBC listener from a young age, I couldn’t be more thrilled! Beginning tonight – Monday, July 3 – tune into Radio 2 using your local frequency between 8 pm & 10 pm nightly, Monday to Saturday, and we’ll be filling your ears with music, stories, and a few surprises along the way.
In spite of the complexities around confederation, we can all agree there is much to celebrate in this beautiful country! And in anticipation of this weekend and Canada 150, we recorded a special arrangement of Neil Young’s Heart of Gold, available exclusively in Canada via Chronograph Records. The track features an all-star Canadian band including JUNO-winner Robi Botos, GRAMMY-winner Larnell Lewis, George Koller and Adam Thomas, co-produced by my husband and I.
